Volunteers at Carew Cheriton Control Tower Museum were pleased to be chosen by PLANED to showcase the museum’s community based work to a group of international visitors on an EU financed study visit to Pembrokeshire this week.
Welcoming the visitors from Finland, France, Scotland and the Czech Republic to the wartime RAF Control Tower Museum President, John Brock MBE said, “The success of the museum is very much owed to the support of PLANED who have been instrumental in securing grant aid to help restore buildings.”
John, who represents Carew Community Forum on the PLANED Board, said “It is particularly pleasing to welcome PLANED Chief Executive, Helen Murray on her first visit to the museum since she was appointed two months ago.”
