We are please to announce extended public opening times for the summer 2019 at Carew Cheriton wartime airfield museum. In addition to the usual Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday’s this year we shall be open for public visits on Wednesday and Thursday from 24 July to 29 August, see below for details:
- Enjoy a trip back in time and experience the RAF Control Tower as it would have been during World War 2.
- Take cover in our reconstructed Stanton Air Raid Shelter.
- View our Avro Anson, Thompson Fuel Bowser and RAF Tractor currently under restoration.
- Browse our large collection of wartime exhibits in the museum.
